How do I record audio?

Sighthound Video 4.X versions and higher only 

Sighthound Video can record and play back audio from cameras that use the AAC codec.  If your camera uses the AAC code for audio, then you can enable audio recordings by doing the following:

1. Right-click the camera in the Monitor View and select 'Edit Camera'

2. Click through to the stream settings page and check the box next to 'Record audio if AAC stream is available'

3. Click through and select Finish. 

Once enabled, newly generated clips will contain audio and can be heard in the Search View, and in exported clips.

Note: If you wish to mute audio in Sighthound Video, you can do so by going to Controls > Mute Audio
