Do Sighthound Video licenses expire?

No. Existing purchased Sighthound Video licenses do not expire.

 

Sighthound Video is a legacy product that is no longer under active development. It is available free of charge and community-supported. Sighthound does not provide regular bug fixes or feature updates for this product.

 

If you see a Renew button in an older account or application screen, current license holders can ignore it. Your original purchased license remains valid for Sighthound Video.

 

License and Pro upgrade requests are now handled manually. Current users who need an up-to-date license or Pro access should contact support so we can update the account manually. New users should create a Sighthound account first, then contact support so we can create a legacy license manually.

 

There is no self-service checkout or automatic upgrade path for legacy Sighthound Video licenses. Manual support handling is also the path to resolve download access for older packaged versions when an account needs an updated legacy license.

 

If you need help recovering, activating, or updating a license, sign in to your Sighthound account or contact support through the Sighthound website.
