Sighthound Video legacy/open-source notice: Sighthound Video is a legacy product that is no longer under active development. It is available free of charge and community-supported. Sighthound does not provide regular bug fixes or feature updates. For critical issues, support responses are best-effort.
Existing purchased licenses do not expire. Users may recover or activate existing licenses through the Sighthound account flow or support form, but new license purchases and upgrades are no longer offered on the website. Source code is available at https://github.com/sighthoundinc/SighthoundVideo.
Sighthound Video is a legacy product and is not receiving regular bug fixes or feature updates. Existing installed copies can continue to run, and existing purchased licenses do not expire.
The latest packaged release is Sighthound Video 7.0.16. If your legacy installation still offers an update prompt, review the release notes before installing. If you want to decide later, choose Remind Me Later.
macOS 7.0.16 audio caveat: If you are on macOS and need audio playback, review the Sighthound Video 7.0.16 release note before updating because that release includes a known macOS audio playback issue.
